About the Event

Mike Broadwater | Vice President, Technology Services Group

Mike Broadwater, Vice President of Technology Services leads the AI and Data Engineering practice at GAI. He is responsible for the design and implementation of all advanced compute and AI infrastructure solutions for GAI’s federal customers including multiple Nvidia SuperPod architectures. Mike is a thought leader when it comes to leveraging AI and how federal agencies can adopt these new technologies. Mr. Broadwater is frequently a speaker on panels regarding AI but is also a practioner.

Mr. Broadwater also serves as GAI’s CIO and is responsible for executing our CMMC plan, enhancing GAI’s cybersecurity maturity program, as well as transforming our own IT infrastructure. Mike’s operations background includes help desk management, datacenter architect, application development, building a cybersecurity program within the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, and as Human Resources and Professional Development analyst. Mike brings to this role a set of capabilities which include a mature approach to IT Operations, software development and infrastructure management.

Greg Matschat | Technical Director, AI and Engineering

Greg Matschat, Technical Director, AI and Engineering, brings over 20 years of experience working in various capacities in the IT field to GAI. As a Technical Director, Mr. Matschat combines his technical expertise with knowledge of the latest OEM technologies and translates that experience into solving complex IT challenges for the federal customer.

Prior to joining GAI, Mr. Matschat has held such roles as a systems engineer/administrator, IT consulting engineer for civilian and defense federal customers, partner in an IT consulting firm, as well as technical sales lead with a leading OEM. He brings specific subject matter expertise and thought leadership in areas of artificial intelligence/machine learning, enterprise solutions, and edge solutions.

Mr. Matschat holds a BS from Florida State University, as well as many industry certifications. Mr. Matschat also serves as the IT Director on the board of the Brendan Looney Foundation. He resides on Oahu, HI with his wife and daughter.
